Projectile Problem

This issue has only appeared since I reinstalled my Gfx Card. Well basically I got a 9600 GT, it fried so I got a 7600 GT with a heatpipe which was already broken. Now I'm back to my original Ati x1250 which has been playing Spring fine since December.

Now I've reinstalled it and everything works ok except for projectiles on any unit aren't showing now. For example if I Dgun the floor I will not see the Dgun projectile but I will see the effects ( The red glow on the floor )

I thought it might be the drivers so I rolled back to the drivers I was using in December, still the same problem. I changed a load of settings in Spring to see if it would make any difference, I tried Max Particles and Unit detail, sliding this to Max or Min made no difference.

Forum Serach for "Projectile" returns nothing useful so I'm wondering if anyone can help?
