The nice 2048x2048 limit as you know it stops me from testing the mod with proper textures. There are some bugs here and there but those aren't too bad. I would release it if either
A: Make spring have a higher texture image limit
B: Someone gimme a quick convertor so I could check if it was enough resizing all textures to 50% of their original size.
Got UTASP5 textures converted but..

Alright. It's working. The quality isn't noticeably bad either. Only thing is that there's some pathfinding issues (as expected) and some build menu conflicts. I'm not that much into how spring handles that many of the files so for now I'll just wait untill the compability get's increased toward OTA mods and units.
