Spring AI's for all three OS's with mod support list

Post by Fri13 »

I have now searched the AI files for Linux about hourh and I cant find KAI or RAI files for Complete Annihilation 2126 stable -mod.

I think we need to write very clear wikipage where Windows, Linux and MacOSX users can download AI's and under every AI is list of what mods it does support and what is the newest version of the mod or with config file.

First you get info what AI and links for different OS's, no links to speficic Linux distributions and then information what are mods supported and what version. Example:

KAI
[Windows]
[Linux]
[MacOSX]
[Source]

Balanced Annihilation 6.21
Complete Annihilation 2126 stable
Nanoblobs
XTA

RAI
[Windows]
[Linux]
[Source]

Balanced Annihilation 6.15
Complete Annihilation 1675 stable
Nanoblobs
XTA
TA: World Domination
Expand and Exterminate .42

--------------------------------------------------------------

I get the feeling that there is no easy way to get those AI's work on Linux because most of these AI's are just compiled for Windows. We should get better download page for this kind things so new users could just download the game, download mods and AI's and then start playing. Information should be right there without need to go search forums!

And yes, I am still searching KAI and RAI AI's compiled for Linux for CA mod... ;-)

Compile from Subversion. That should give you a couple of working AI without much of a hassle.

Is this a 64/32 bit error? You need to release two libs for Ubuntu.
