you know those alert sirens that used to go off in ota when your commy was under attack... is it not existing in spring an xta thing? same goes for a few other sounds that dont make an appearance...

Aha, the GroupAI should be able to play arbitrary sounds such as alerts, and thus could be used like this.

Sy's perhaps a GroupAI alled Auto could eb made as a default globalAI dll to eb laoded on start with things such as play alerts, assign metal makers to metal maker AI and other thigns which should be automated to reduce micromanagement (this word needs a lot fo micromanagement spellingwise phew....) and add features.

mm AI is teh sex but a player CAN do it better with energy storages (set em as a group select group, press x (on) low energy--> press x (off) XD). this sort of solution i already see in spring with the patrol command. there is little micro in spring but i like that micro and don't want it taken from me!!! :evil:

yeah thats too much of a change... this is a little off of subject but is there something in spring that lets you make scripted sounds or events.

ie. recieve a transmission (play a sound) from core central consciousness (in a singleplayer game) when you have reached a certain level of resources, or defences, etc.
