Build queing..

Post by Chimera »

I have this problem....
Image

when I hold shift down, then I move my mouse onto the build menu while a unit is selected, everything disappears...basically what you can't see in the screenshot above

That also includes the water texture, I don't know why its just suddenly started happening, also after I've put multiple buildings down an shift qued, when I let go an press shift again, it does the same thing in the picture above.

If I unselect the unit an hold shift, the metal/energy bar etc doesn't disappear... its fine, but as soon as I select a construction unit or building, it does it :|

The only thing I downloaded was the 1944 mod/game, it actually started doing that when I played it.
I've tried uninstalling an making sure there was no Spring folder left, but even then, after I've installed it an gone to the settings, all my settings aren't back to default :?

help meee! :(

Do you have an ATI card? Then you can use the following fix:

- Start the SpringSettings program
- Switch on Advanced Mode
- Go to the Render quality / Video mode
- Under Anti-Aliasing, check the "Draw smooth lines", and "Draw smooth points" checkboxes.
- Close SpringSettings.

Have fun!

BTW, don't play SpeedMetal too much. It's a horrid map, and does not teach you good gameplay.
