New channels?

I would like to have a #dev and probably an #aidev channel on the main lobby server. What do you think?
there is a #moddev channel (though no #mapdev one, which may be interesting too for some). Right now i have a very small question, which is not of general interest, namely: what are the YardMaps (unsigned char**) in UnitDef?
things like this should be asked and answered in such channels, i think.
i already joined the #dev and #aidev channel, but it has no topic, and i am the only one in there all the time ;-)
opinions please!

#moddev could answer the above question which is a mod development question...as could the wiki. Most engine development discussion occurs on IRC, quakenet #sy.

ok :-)
so if its possible, i would suggest an alias #dev which maps to #sy. if thats not possible.. or if you wan´t to hide ;-) .. lets forget it.
what about #aidev? would there just be too little action for it to be worthwhile?

#sy in the lobby is already connected to #sy on irc ;)

AI development is rather slow lately; you'd be better off asking in the AI forum.

tbh AI developers tend not to go into the lobby very often if at all.

You also have #sy for engine development which has melbot acting as a bridgebot with #sy on quakenet irc

wel you are right, its not needed, and wouldt work then, if noone was there.
