my 1st attempt resulted in the porting of a map i made for the original game. The Desert Triad 2 is now available for Spring. The map is suitable for up to 6 players, divided in left vs right teamplay. I couldn't get it hosted at FU yet, but untill i get it up there, here's an alternative link:

All we need now is the best desert map of TA, Painted. This one I consider second.

Tried to d/l but got a 'Process cannot access file because another process is.. blah msg'

Im sure 'G' or 'S will get you all FU'd up soon. Can't wait to take a look at it man.

You need to despeckle that texture map a couple times. Maybe even a small touch of gausian blur.

Then repackage. That will have no obvious effect on the visual part of the map but it may half the size of the map itself.
