BA6.2 (distortion graphics?) problem

I get Lua errors when there are explosions. It seems that it is specifically when there are shockwaves. (Edit: name suggests distortions) The lua errors refer to graphics, but everything seems to be drawn fine. They do slow down the game in an annoying way. (Other people didnt seem bothered by it.)
The error message is:

I had to write it on paper, where is the log file for Ubuntu?

PS on another 64 bit computer stuff looked wholly different, i dont get why. Perhaps coindental version change just as i changed computer?

Edit: I just remembered that i have only played ba6.1 on this computer so far. (might be the distortion code or something)
