Wings 3D problem

I have a problem with wings 3d 0.99.01, and i have windows vista. I can only see half the screen to the left of the y axis, and everything to the right is gray. All i can see on the right side is window title names, and the labels of the axes. I don't feel like reformatting my computer, so what do i do?

Edit -> Preferences -> Misc
Near the bottom are workarounds, if they don't fix it, dunno.

Wings uses opengl to render right? If so, that may be the issue.

i would say your best bet is to stop using vista. You will have much fewer problems all around the board.
