.

.. You need to post MORE details ...

You need to post system specs ... like the OS you are
using the memory, CPU, graphics card, version of drivers
you are using for the graphics card and the setting of the
game and resolution you are running it in. Stuff like that ...

Its better to post MORE... others in the forum will be able
to help you troubleshoot your issue that way ...

Eh, he did post the details: 'Needed extension GL_ARB_texture_env_combine not found'. Follow these three steps:
- Run settings.exe and put everything to the lowest settings, retry Spring.exe
- Update your graphic card drivers and your DirectX, retry Spring.exe
- Buy a new graphic card, retry Spring.exe

I'm having trouble with this error as well

GL_ARB_texture_env_combine not found.

I read what was posted and I still can't get spring to work. My friend who has it working showed me his config settings at his house and I set mine to the same thing, everything to the left..
So i checked video card its a NVIDIA GeForce4 MX 4000 And I was wondering if having this is my problem, please note that this driver is also fully updated.

Got same error on XP Pro x64 on an AMD64 box w/ Nvidia 5700, tried installing new drivers for video, no luck. Reinstalled Spring 05b2 under 32-bit XP Pro on same box, runs without errors. Most google-ish searches for this error seemed to revolve around libgl.so (under unix) or missing sound files -- one of the differences between my two installs is that the x64 version comes with directx-10 v. directx 9c on the 32-bit install.

Now if I can just figure out the Spring user interface...

I have Win XP PRO RUS, a 2 ghz processor 768MB memory and a Nvidia GeForce FX 5500 256mb card. I have tried 5 different driver versions including the latest RUS and EN drivers from nvidia's website, which say they have open GL 2 support, I also used GLinfo to scan my open gl status and it confirms that i have the GL_ARB_texture_env_combine file. However, when i try to launch a TAS game (even at minimal settings and with shadows off), as host or not, IT SEZ I DON'T HAVE GL_ARB_texture_env_combine :( :( !!!
Anyone have any ideas on how to fix this? TY very much in advance!!! :-)
