builder exp
i think that a builder should receive exp for building things. the point is that their build speed would increase because they "know" how to build things. the exp system would work like this: if you had a const. kbot build a nuke silo, there would be a major exp bonus because it took so long, yet if you have 20 FARKs building one, the bonus per unit would be less. and .nocost makes exp void

Re: builder exp
I can understand the combat experience for robots. They can't know the random atmospheric conditions in a brand new place or on a new planet, so when they hit or miss an enemy they can account for it better and better as the game progresses (My CPU is a neural net processor, a learning computah). But why would a con get better at building? It has a certain buildpower which lets it shoot out a certain number of nanobots at the building. It has the plans for the same building each time it builds it so that doesn't change. What would cause it to build better each time?
Yes I know I'm totally into realism.

Re: builder exp
This isn't an engine feature; it would easily be implementable in a luarule.
Re: builder exp
Yeah, please don't add even more stupid exp rules that screw with mods.
Re: builder exp
It makes sense to lua it considering this is a per unit attribute not unlike veteran status.
Re: builder exp
Per-unit has nothing to do with lua-worthyness. However, no mandatory features liek this should be introduced in the future, the exp system we already have is bad enough.
