Does anyone know how to stop smoke coming out of geovents?

Geovents emit "smoke" because they're Geovents. It's part of the definition in the Spring engine. Basically, you can't.

Can't you change the texture they use though? So couldn't you create a transparent or very small texture for the smoke?

Sorry if I'm using the wrong word for 'texture'.

I know KP uses custom textures for geos, so shouldn't it be possible make them "invisible"

You can make them "invisible", but the FX are still running. And you'll break smoke, since it uses the same texture :?

Mod defined, isnt it? I mean most mods use the same texture for both but they dont have to.

Pity you cant turn off the particles though as, presumably, thats the major reason to (Richat lol).

They have to, but you can replace all the smoke of your units and weapons by custom effects.
