Naval destroyer and interceptors
My first units... :D

Re: Naval destroyer and interceptors
Nose of that ship looks a bit odd, what are those black lines there? Also, ship's hull seems to lack detail compared to the turrets.
Add some more shots from different angles, this one leaves much to be guessed.

Re: Naval destroyer and interceptors
Well to say the truth this isn't looking good. I'm not going to comment about the surface look itself as there's pretty much no texture to comment about but what points out are the models itself...
There are some really bad points especially because you have shown that you can do it better when looking at those ship gun turrets. Just some examples: At the very front of the ship there has to be something wrong as you get some stange effects from superfluos or just wrong done geometry. You also see some strange effect at the bottom of the control tower behind the 2nd turret on the ship where it seems like you have pushed one single vertex inwards resulting in those bad Gouraud Shading artifacts and maybe even some more bad geometry...
When looking at those fighters you see your major problem very well:
You seem to have no concept / don't have some kind of "flow" on your models. Super detailed parts are connected to roughly sketched ones and there also is a tendency to very sudden and sharp edges with no reason which don't add in details but rather make the model itself kinda "random" - there's no real structure...
Try to keep the detail level steady or give additional detail only to those things which really stand out and/or take lots of the viewers attention. This way you of course can give the ship's guns more details but don't make them super detailed while the ship's main body is made of less than 30 polygons...

Needs moar welds.
Re: Naval destroyer and interceptors
Please post pics without stupid background effects i.e. water sky and smooth shading.
