A thing i noticed about ghosted buildings
before ghosted building we're shown and u hav radar coverage u could target the blips, but now with the ghosted buildings, the blips disapear on the main map, even when u hav radar coverage, this is kinda anoying cus now u can't target them anymore. a better solution would be to keep displaying the radarblip and just tag it with the name of the structure.

Do ghosts still show up as blips on the minimap?
____
Naming blips could be quite useful, but imo it would be too easy to spot the important units (kroggies etc) in the mass of blips marching towards your base after just a quick flyby with a couple of scouts.
I agree.well i like to hav blips, it gives me more of a feeling that something is there...
I quite like the idea of giving blips names.
No. I don't want to fight against lines of text. The era of text-based games is long gone. I want GRAPHICS!
If you think that knowing what blips are is a neccessity, then replace them by "ghosts". But seeing the way things are going, me might as well save time and effort and right away change the settings to mapping=mapped, los=permanent.

i realize now...
In a recent game had a bunch of dominators, and they where shooting at the Ghosts... (cool!
)
but i moved them a bit more into enemy territory and they stopped shooting at the ghosts that where a bit further... had to manually target those, and got a bit confued about ghost targetting..
i realize now that my radar coverage wasnt over the farther ghosts.
It a bit dumb not having the blinks, because you dont know if the buildings are still there... and you cant tell radar coverage right away.
Using "L" can help in this case.
In the radar/range-circles subject, i ask for "permanent" (multi?)unit range show. selectable with a key.
forgot to say: cool new range circles! amazing.

Whiteboard dots?
are you talking about somekey+midle click "points"?
interesting... so if you attack such a point, the bullets will direct to its base?
maybe you can add artificial enemy points, your units attack that point without an attack command (just as real radar dots), the points lasts (dissapear) till when that zone is spotted and clear from real enemy.
Something like a Global "attack ground" ... i like that idea...
that replaces some uses of the "a" key...
