everytime you see NOiZE, me, daywalker, or any PRO/LCC on the client, poke them for a game.

as for replays, i have a lot of good ones but they have been saved over a huge timespan and thus require a lot of different ba versions :/

Watching replays is like sitting on a three headed gay elephant.

Don't ask me how.

Thanks for the nice answers, I have very limited access to the interweb this week or two, which is a good thing, because I need the time to write tons of documentation and HW for uni. :(

I play under the handle [teh]Ender now, and it was those couple of 2v2 matches we played like two weeks ago with you, Lion, that sparked my interest in these kind of games, they are so much more intense than big teamgames. I've been trying to get more 1v1 since then, but I'm not sure people with Day's or Randy's skill would want to beat me again_and_again_and_again...

I will ring when I'm around though.

Also: Sleksa, up those re's, it's not like BA has the nigh-incomprehensible CA update structure [which i do like, but maybe ain't the best for replays].

I personally dont have much interest in replays since I could be playing or specting in that time... :)

But if you wanna learn, nothing teaches how to play a game better than getting utterly crushed by someone much better than you... :)

If you want to learn from watching, it is better to spec 1v1s and discuss the game with other specs.

not to sure about that det, watching back some of my replays half the specs miss a lot of reasons behind why things are done, and state their wrong opinions as fact. I think if you are intelligent you will get there whether u watch or play, but personally playing is always the best way.

You could try what I used a few times.

1) Spectate until you find someone succesfully doing a new strat.
2) Try do it yourself.
3) Watch the replay you just played, and try figure why you failed.
4) Repeat 2 and 3 until you succeed.

The hard part is 1), you need to figure exactly what he was trying and how he did it. It doesn't need to be just one strat, maybe his whole playstyle. If you can do it yourself, you can probably counter it, too.
