I really like it. Plays fairly well with PURE. Only quibbles are the sky and the water- with terrain like that, which is clearly not grass, the water should have a lot more green in it, and I think an orange sky and orange light with deep blue as the non-lit color would really set it off, and give it the feeling of a real place.

It looks like it would be pretty fun but the colours do look kind of off.

What are those [] on the minimap?

The rivers end near the map edges and you can probally get some kbots through there, over to the enemys island.
So you have a pretty important chokepoint right at the mapedge which might feel strange. I don't like fighting at the edge of maps because it feels unnaturable. Hope you understand what I mean..

from the looks of the screens the bots can walk on that water.

It is designed to have that point, but realize that an assault is working uphill from any of those zones.

Yes, the water is passable by Kbots. It is also passable by infantry in S44. This is intentional.

The "[ ]" are metal spot indicators textured onto the map. A different idea, I know, but not all games use metal as such, and I felt that a more generic indicator would be handy.

I will be rereleasing it later with more cowbell and five fixes.
1. Gameplay; Better smoothing around the metal spots at the beginning. You aren't supposed to upgrade all of them, but the starting ones should be able.
2. Atmosphere; adding Cowbell feature.
3. Atmosphere; removing grass.
4. Atmosphere; changing skybox.
5. Atmosphere; adding some small plant features.

I'd have used a gradient map and different green tones but this makes a nice alien world, still.

You should've made the edges soft and perhaps smooth it once or twice (and then remove the unneeded edgeloops of course), I don't remember any cowbell to be as edgy as that.
