Does anyone find the projectile-hits-unit physics lame?

I hope they don't take up much processing grunt, because even in the rare instance where they come into effect they are too quick to be cool.
I reckon either make them more obvious, or get rid of them completely. The way they are now is pointless!

Eh, It could use a little refinement, to make it look a little more graceful, maybe more spinning, more air, and less rolling/sliding on ground. It's cool though, I hate this feature not.

I don't get exactly what you are aiming at. Do you want to condensate everything to StarCraft where all weapons hit always?

Yep, this is a nice feature, and i don't think it take much ressources. The fact is that the vehicules mvts look realistic for me, no big jump or any rolls on half the map (ever played Warhammer 40k dawn of war ?). Maybe a bit too realistic. I want to see pewees flying all over the map by a Krog hit :p
This would mean we should add a new unit param 'Mass', which would minimize the effect of a hit on it (a Krogoth sliding backward because a nuke missile just explode in front of him :p this could be fun, or because many planes hit him at the same time, slowing him down, or if he is stationnary, making him slide).

Physic system can definitively be ameliorated, with a new switch in units, 'NewPhysic = 0/1' so people can revert to OTA physic :)

I was wondering if anyone has experimented with using a weapon force to make a unit jump o_O

How is the force of the push calculated? the velocity of the projectile or the damage of the projectile?

Storm, I'm talking about units going flying!

Mass is determined by metalcost.

I think in some cases, units disturbed by explosions should be reduced, but in others it should be increased. I definitely think that light units belted by heavy artillery should be thrown into the air like rag dolls. It is Total Annihilation. Half the fun is just blowing shit up.
