ai vs ai crashes spring while the player(s) are in spec-mode

hi
i cant run a game with 2 ais, fighting each other while i am in the spectator mode.
the game starts, and crashes as soon as i move the cursor.
the game seems to just stop till it crashes, since the ai's arent moving or doing anything while i let the cursor alone.
