It's too high poly for spring modeling. Read some tutorials on low poly modeling. There should be lots laying around.

Don't use subD unless you know how to work with it! That stuff looks like you just slapped subD on there because you thought it looked cool but you didn't do anything to make it look good. Letting aside that subD has no place in Spring (and neither do those spheres you used on the star destroyer) you need to control your material a lot better. Use sharp edges where they should go!

I'll try to cut the polys. I just like using the smoth comand, and the tales on the walker are soppost to be missle tubes.

Don't use the smooth command until you have a freaking clue about how to use it right! Avoid triangles, get proper edgeloops, use sharp edges where they should go and most importantly make use of your infinite polycount! Every little greeble can and should be modeled in highpoly. You aren't making a lowpoly approximation of the shape!

You rather mean who'd like to map the low poly cage.

Keep working on it. 90% of the people on this board can't model half that well.

That is because 90% of the people don't even bother.

Modeling requires skill, restraint and talent. I know a number of people, myself included, who currently cannot model even as well as that.

You never "have" those - you strive to them.

I'm gonna go with spiked on this one. Everyone starts somewhere, if you don't give people a chance they are destined to fulfill your expectation of failure. Society loses alot of valuable potential for exactly that reason.

Although in the defense of the spring community in general, at least no one has told him to commit suicide yet :)
