What cup needs for in-client-downloads

I want a linux program that works in this way, if it doesent work in this way dont tell me because i wont use it, i hate linux and dont want to fiddle about with stupidity.

i am a fanboy of IT WORKS FIRST TIME WITHOUT 300000 LINES OF CONFIG FILES and thus am not a fan of linux. ever.

1) i want to be able to run a script and it returns the hash that spring uses to identify archives (i dont know what this is)

2) i need to be able to call it in this manner '/some/path/scriptname /path/to/file/fileishere.sd7'

3) it needs to return ONLY THE HASH and nothing else, i dont care about pictures or anything. (returned as an echo/print or whatever so php can just use it straight away)

4) thankyeee.

Yes, agreed muchly...probably a minor modification to unitsync (python iirc) would do this
