I hate to come across as a jerk, but... erm, I think that the main critique I have of your Zero is that it looks nothing like the real thing.

Here's a good link showing lots and lots and lots of drawings of the A6M:

http://www.combinedfleet.com/ijna/a6m.htm

Note, for example, that the propeller has THREE BLADES ;)

At the bottom of that article, there are 3-view drawings- the most valuable things you can find, for reference sources. Model from those. In most modelers, you can even import them as a background image, and model with them as your background.

What I wouldn't do for the 1944 team to add in some other sides after they release...

Japan comes after we add navies to the other sides. Assuming any of us still have time at that point. Just getting to a lite build release is proving difficult, although it is shaping up very nicely.

And yeah - I'd suggest finding some blueprints to work from. http://www.the-blueprints.com is an excellent source for accurate references to model from.

Off the bat, here's what I can spot:

- Wingspan looks a little too small compared to the body.
- The angle of the curve on the belly up to the tail is too extreme.
- The cockpit is too far in front.
- Angle of the vertical tail is off.
- Shape and size of the horizontal tail is off.
- Taper on the body (top view) should be a little more acute. Also note that while WW2 fighter craft in general have round engine housings, the body tapers off into an oval shape.

You should also try using a reference picture into your 3D program (i usually make a plane or box and map the reference picture on it) so you can edit the geometry accurately.

Hope that helps.
