Why is it that when I autohost using default spring.exe minimized, and then I unminimize the window somewhat late into a game, I get tremendous fucking [edit: lag] and cpu spike????

Because while spring is minimized, it doesn't render the graphics n stoof for the game.

Once you get back in, you gotta "catch up" to the latest ;P.

It's because spring is running on high priority. If its minimized it doesnt matter but if you maximize spring running at high priority it will consume all CPU power and starve all other stuff in your system.

That's what I thought, is there anyways to change this in the future?

alt tabbing spring results in cpu spike 100% of the time
