Yes. I make models, and of course test and discuss changes and stuff. (If you don't believe me, go look at our TAU forum...)

Didnt you only just get wings? :P

Get on the art and modelling forum. Look up on the interwebs for some pictures of some technological tanky robot things (or whatever) and try to make a model out of them, and post on the arts and modelling forum for feedback and critique so people can get to know your work. Look at the mods being developed on the arts and modelling forum, and pick one that suits your aesthetic tastes that you would enjoy working for.

If you only just started though, get some practice and feedback first.

Yeah, the best way is to show an example of your work. If it's good, the big projects will snap you up very quickly.

I'd certainly pounce for SWS if I saw some quality example work.

modeling can become tedious, pick a project you like and make a model for them... post it.. if it is good enough they will accept it if it isn't you are now a better modeler!

Speaking of which, we have over nine thousand modelers here but only 0.2 texturers.

If you REALLY wanna be useful, learn to texture, or make stock textures. Metal plates are good for anything...
