Working AIs in 0.75b2 ?

Post by bizzaroMike »

I just built 0.75b2 on my ubuntu64 system and noticed that using the "KAI" causes spring to thrash the disk, steal the mouse, and generally lock-up. Do other people have this problem?

Is there another AI for single-player games that works on Balanced Annihilation (or another TA-based mod)?

Both KAI and AAI work for me. Using Arch linux 32 bit, and spring is compiled by me.

I'm not sure if the AI has been built for 64bit compatibility. I would check the AI subforum for one which supports a 64bit OS.

I just tried AAI with XTA and BA, and it dumps core. KAI is still a no-go. I did check that the source actually builds the AI's, rather than just installing a .so ... I don't know what the problem is. I'll go check the AI forum for 64bit binaries.

your only gonna find 32bit windows binaries, aka dlls in the AI forum,

If you want a 64bit linux so you'll have to compile it yourself
