Should we replace mars in the installer with redcomet?

With better terrain that doesnt have you moving buildings about to find flat space, much nicer colours, and an OTA theme with a twist, and a more appropriate size, why should we keep mars in the installer when red comet is so much better?

This map looks alot like DarkSide but with dif colors.... I love it!

Heavily modified. At most it is a derivative work.

However small divide is in the installer and that hasnt been resized, retextured drastically, and rebalanced. Its stilly pretty much the same map as OTA. So I think the copyright issue is actually safer with red comet than small divide.

I would prefer Red Comet over Mars any day. Mars's textures are not a pretty sight, red comet looks like something I might even play regularly.

Maybe an idea if all source material would be available (GPL'ed) so the map can be reworked if copyright issues would arise later on.

Loel, you just use the heightmap of the map...? Just change one pixel and its yours... no more copyright issues.

IIRC the heightmap of this map has been remade several times.

You cant expect 2 noobs who want a quick game to spend ages capping mexes on comet catcher and waiting to kill the enemy. And theyr not gonna sit for 8 more players either.

Redcomet can give them a nice quick 1v1 or 2v2 game.

why replace? +666 on include, but leave Mars alone, one bigger map should be bundled, too. (It could use a revitalization, though.)

Wait, are we talking about the same map?

CCR is excellent for 1v1 or 2v2 games.

If your objective is to edumacate the nubs, CCR teaches the importance of quick expansion and mex-building.
