Can't really connect nor host...

When I try to host, I test the map and get "Failed. You probably won't be able to host with these settings."

Also, when I try to join someone else's game, it just times out and sends me back to the drop-room (game lobby?).

These are the only problems I'm currently having.

I originally installed Spring over the UTASP5 mod... so I uninstalled both spring and TA then deleted the root folders. I reinstalled TA (without the patch) and reinstalled Spring.

(the Spring I use is from the Regular download)

I've hosted a game with no players so I can move and look around, but of course win after I place my commander and cannot actually ineract with the units.... and when I join someone else's game, I can see the map they have loaded but end up timing out after the 21 seconds or so.

You don't need to install Spring over the old TA; infact, that's probably wha'ts wrong. un-install again, then install just Spring. That should fix it.

Well I havn't tested it yet, but I did the reinstall (of Spring and not TA). I tested a hosted game I made and it still gave me the "Failed. You probably cannot host with these settings." type message but I've not yet tried joining a game.
