The Adventures of Buckaroo Banzai Across the Eight Dimension.

The main character is a rock star, ninja, nuclear physicist, brain surgion super hero. The bad guys are dimension hopping alien versions of Nazis that all have the same first name. It is one of the best, strangest movies I've ever seen.
