is it possible to make a mod where the point is to download units from unituniverse, fileuniverse, etc. This mod would not unsync, so you could play someone online with your Guardian of Steggu or Praetorian.

again, is this possible?

it isnt currently possible unless your openent has the same content (im not even sure haveing the same units dumped into ur spring root would work) which doing that would ruin the whole point of it......also it would be easy to cheat in something like this, just edit SUPER UNIT **** to make it cost 1m, 1e, built by the commander with a build time of 10. some 1 correctme if im wrong...

if it was possible and the cheating issues could be solve it would be awsome!

E:p.s zarganeth is better than guardian of steggu and its core :P

again, is this possible?
No.
1. Unitsync is always used.
2. Downloaded units won't necessarily work in Spring.
3. Since the gamestate is calculated on each computer independently they all need the same units installed or one computer would be left wondering "WTF is a Guardian of Steggu?" and couldn't continue.

Downloaded units need their textures repacking from gafs into image files for spring to eb able to read them correctly. There may also be script issues.and weapons problems.
