Minimap and buildmenu, etc etc

Forgive me if I'm asking an age old question, but is there, will there, can there be the ability to click on the minimap and have the screen jump there?

Besides that, I was playing TA earlier with my brother and a friend, and I realized something I was fond of. Being somewhat obsessive-compulsive, I liked having a sort-of 'static' sidebar, and having the actual game screen beside it. You know, where the build menu and the minimap were? Where the options came up when you hit F2? Where you saw the nice Arm or Core logo when you weren't doing anything?
Along with that, what about unit health, energy use, production, etc.? I know it's in that little box down there in the left hand corner, but I'm so used to looking at the bottom of the screen for the green and red bar!

I guess in simpler terms, is there, or is it possible, to have a classic game interface? Honestly, I feel a little scatterbrained trying to switch between the two. :wink:

pretty sure middle mouse click on the minimap jumps to that position...

as to classic game interface im sure someone could take lua and make it the question is will they want to...

It used to be right click, now it is middle mouse button.

TASClient -> Options -> Program -> Game Settings -> Mouse Input Settings
Minimap 3-button mouse support

Disable that feature to revert to 2-button mouse mode
(right click will center the view). This also means that you
will no longer be able to issue default orders on the minimap.

Well I'm looking for the old style TA feel. If I switch to two button, can I flip the two so right click deselects, and left click gives the orders?

Also, why wouldn't I be able to issue orders on the minimap?

AFAIK that's not supported. But then again almost no games use C&C-style buttons these days, including C&C itself and TA had the option to switch between both styles.

Because the right mouse button currently does that?

Ah. Isn't there a way to change the functions of the buttons? I see uikeys, but I don't see anything about the mouse in it, and I wanted to put left click to orders and right click to deselecting, etc.
