Sharp Performance Drop
All of the sudden, my average FPS dropped from about forty or fifty to under ten. I have made no hardware changes, aside from doubling my RAM last week, and at that point there were no issues with it.
Any ideas?

Maybe you connected your ram weakly and it fell off?neddiedrow wrote:All of the sudden, my average FPS dropped from about forty or fifty to under ten. I have made no hardware changes, aside from doubling my RAM last week, and at that point there were no issues with it.

Upgrade drivers, upgrade bios, upgrade firmware, upgrade everything you can.
Make sure it's all tuned used RivaTuner or whatever is appropriate for your card from http://www.guru3d.com
Make sure you have the latest chipset drivers for your motherboard as well!
