Banned treads section?

Post by gamer17 »

It would be cool if we had a section on the forums where banned treads went.

It would give us a good laugh, their is nothing better then reading all the dumb stuff people post.

Some of the deleted threads are libel and frankly do not need to be seen by the public. Others are grossly inappropriate. There is a reason they are removed from public view.

Biased poll is biased. Plus, most threads that go bad are just locked and left there.

unfortunately most locked threads are not so much funny as they are sad.

If unfit for the public eye, they are removed.

If they were simply getting out of hand with spam etc, they just get locked and are still available to be read if you so wish

Yea, but would it be too hard just to move them to a new section?

And it was "Gundam is Successful"

trust me, noone wants to see the threads that provoked my outright defense. Read your pm and try and understand what I typed to you in there.

We do have this, it's just not publicly viewable.

Because if we allowed it to be viewable then people would read it and go "oh, hey, some guy flamed me in this thread that the mods locked, therefore I'm going to start a new thread to flame then back". We delete posts for a reason, and that reason is usually to end flamewars. There's no point in deleting the thread if we leave it visible to the public. We might as well just lock it and lul when the flamewars continue elsewhere.
