Captain Morgan

Post by Caydr »

As I turned 19 about 4... 5? 6? months ago, I've learned the wonders of alcohol. Actually because I'm a walking, talking genetic disaster and I'm 6'3" and 190 LBs (95 kg), basically all I get is the taste.

(I drank an entire 1L bottle of 7% wine about 2 years ago in the space of about an hour and felt nada. On the eve of my turning 19, I drank about 0.5L of a mix of 9 40% alcohol drinks and got a nasty headache that prevented me from moving very much for a couple hours, and almost prevented me from eating half a pizza. But didn't. And I kept it down. And no hangover. And I didn't even giggle or any of that stuff... You do NOT want to get in a drinking contest with me.)

Annnnway, now that I'm done proving my positively astounding manliness, I wanted to say that Spiced Captain Morgan in cocacola is the BEST thing ever. You MUST try it, if you haven't already. Be generous with the Captain Morgan.

Anyone here got good drink recipes? It can't involve any drinks over 40% alcohol since I can't get em in Canada (easily).

Tesco Value Vodka if you're on a budget, though make sure to shake the bottle first cos the dregs are nasty (any cheap alcohol really). Failing that any Scottish or Irish whiskey goes down that quite well by itself.

If you're looking for a special drink though, equal parts of:

Cointreau
Rum
Martini

In large volumes, with a little lime juice and some crushed ice it goes down smooth and fast.

EDIT: Forgot port! That's pretty good, though pricey.

I drank Battery+vodka once, and almost died to heart attack. At least it felt like that o_O Also i felt like i was having fever, or something, had to go outside for cold air.

Ive heard that its not healthy to mix energy drinks with alcohol. People have actually died when they have drank energy drink+alcohol.

If you want to get drunk with low cost, you should try some strong wines.

I actually calculated with PHP which drink in Finland is the most cost effective.

Result:
Marabello / 21% / 6.5├â┬ó├óÔé¼┼í├é┬¼ / 0.75L (wine)

In australia if you really have no tastebuds or gag reflex you can drink "Passion Pop" which is a $5 bottle of champagne but you pretty much have to be homeless to drink it

5$ and how much in litres? what % ? Sounds neat.

Edit: NVM, wikipedia told me:

750ml bottles. The drink is 9.5%

Well, marabello wins that in alcohol percents

Sweet Liquor for sipping in the evening - Ammeretto!

Decent lager - Budvar Budweiser (Czech larger, NOT vomit inducing U.S. stuff)

Bitter (Ale) - I think Youngs Ram Rod is wonderful.

Cocktail - Mojito - Rum, lots of ice, crushed brown sugar, lime juice, splash of soda water (not tonic water) and a decent amount of mint. Pretty bloody tasty ^^
