Does "Redux" means "remake"? Because to me it always sounded like '"reduced". Can't you use version number?

Also, I read that acid stings. What a pity! With such a map layout, would have been so nice to build a navy and shell the enemy from behind. Plus, the colour theme and features make it look like a crystal TA map, in which water was sailable.

It might be better to set the resouces on map(cristals) a littlel lower on metal) now it is sometimes a battle of first 2 minutes but this map is totally win

Maybe I should do a non-acid version as well? I quite like it with it cause it make hovers viable. And redux, because its smaller than teh original, plus it sounds cool.

Do you think i should half the crystals metal, to make it less of a bost on your econ?

I will release this and if need be a new version of the the acid bridge one if someone else will agree that metal is to high on teh crystals, plus if someone would tell me any other probs they have noticed...

aGorm

(notice the acid planet in the background... and handily the blue one is in the background of the acid one...)

::EDIT::

Redux means returned, not reduced.

Very pretty map though... perhaps you'd get the non-acid gameplay you desired by making the water too shallow for L2 boats, tideless, and metalless? Then the water would be just exploited for hovers, HLTs and makers.

Oh, and by the way WE WANT THE aGORM TREE MAP!.

Well, I was liking the idea of haveing an acid one and a non acid one... belive me units can get though the acid with... some asistance... :-) 10 construction planes patroling the area you want them to go through and boom, acid is no problem.

The non acid version then has room for all the ships ect... changing the gameplay alot.

This are awesome screens that will lead to - another Fivethousand: "Which Map is this Requests?" so can you please add giant, big Trees so we have tenthousand ? I just like the Number ;)

So, serious Agorm this looks Great, and tastes Great - but please - put the Mapname and the Maker into the Screenshots. That or just reduce the Beauty so there won`t be requests (Much more work by the way;) ) Good Job..

Love the bubbly crystals in the water version, very pretty. Also, played a bit on this this morning- the crystals are very powerful, they definetely change the game dynamic. If you like that, I'd say it's fine. If you want it to play like a "typical" map, though, I'd lower them a bit.

In other news, the AI likes to walk it's commander into the acid and die. A lot. Stupid AI!

I thought the number of metal patches was a bit stingy for more than 1v1, players like to have some mexes even if there is tons of metal to reclaim :P

It's also nice to see a map breaking away from the "same-old" l3dt look.

One advice: start mapfilenames with capitals, also you can use spaces.

Really nice looking map!

Some things:

Add metal in the water, add some tidal.
