Re: WWII medical experiments performed by Japan and Germany
GOTA is right on morals, but wrong on digging up people from centurys ago, because Journier arghumanted that they were digging up people from centurys ago, centurys ago, so the basically de-burried yesterdays guys. Gave the catholic church an hard one. (WTF, this people would rise one day from there grave, when jesus returned to feed his zombiefollowers with brainz, how are those corpses supposed to rise, if doctors disected there atonomy. This is clear evidence, that atheism, not believing in deeds triumphing over sins, trys to steal the final hailhobbling, when the zombies go marching home.)

Necrophilius what are you doing? Son im dissect!
I think we could agree upon, that the dead wouldnt want to go unmentioned, even if there sacrifice was involuntarily. They died, and if they improved & helped medicine, they definalty deserve to be mentioned - far more than any nazi-doctor, who let them walk the plank like animals. And of course the information gained is moral-free, as all destilled information.

Lol, too many zombie video games for you. This Wednesday is Ash Wednesday when the Catholics will have the sign of the cross made on their foreheads over here while they try to assess and work towards their spiritual goals by doing things such as taking the sacrament of confession more often. They will go to church and the priest will tell them to remember that thou art dust, and to dust thou shalt return, so I'm doubtful that it's supposed to be just like having zombies everywhere even though there are things like preserved relics and saints out there.

Re: WWII medical experiments performed by Japan and Germany
I was the only protestantic child at a catholic kindergarden, and on ashday, the local priest (actually a nice guy) showed up to give us the ash cross on the forehead. Scared the shit out of me, i thought he was using the ash of a real human to paint on peoples head, didnt move one inch, afraid i might be next.
Re: WWII medical experiments performed by Japan and Germany
They're from palm leaves that were from Palm Sunday. The whole we are dust thing meant that we were supposed to have humility and, therefore, be considerate and try to grow spiritually. I'm not sure where you got the zombie idea for that instance from. Churches don't generally tend to remind me of funerals, but there are some strange things that one can hear in a church. For example, someone told me that the big, pretty, but serious looking statues of Mary come alive at night, so I kept trying my best to scoot over towards the statues even though they were often roped off or to high up for me to reach to see if I could touch it on the foot. I wanted to prove that the statue coming alive thing wasn't true because the statue was very realistic and I figured that if it did come alive she might be ticklish on her feet. Therefore, I should poke it on the foot.
Re: WWII medical experiments performed by Japan and Germany
sounds like it did teach him humility through fear he might be the next to be burned up for dust...
Re: WWII medical experiments performed by Japan and Germany
(getting back on topic) Well tbh, i think more was learned from actual war scenarios than burning people to death.
you can read this i doubt youll be the same person afterwards but read it
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nazi_human_experimentation
Anyways advances due to war.
Examples:
battalion aid stations
unit medical personnel
battle dressings, sulfa and morphine at soldier level
troops instructed in individual first aid
specified medical evac system
medics trained in specific treatment and evac techniques
field hospitals
trained anesthesiologists
first x-rays for hospital units
use of plasma and other volume expanders
note: standard antibiotic throughout most of WWII was sulfa powder. PCN not available until late in war.
hospital trains and ships
WWII had widespread use of penicillin for the Allied forces, credited with saving 10-15% of the wounded from death according to wiki. But with Wiki, trust but verify.
Also, in WWII, the elimination of "gas gangarene," plus the regular dusting of battlefields and men with DDT to prevent typhus outbreaks and the many other infections that arose from the clouds of flies that were drawn to unburied corpses.
Essencialy your looking at the effects of war, and how science trys to protect a war machine.
From actual Nazi/japanese experiments very little was heard off, but surely something was learned, but very few documentation exist.

Sounds like egyptians putting dust/ash marks on their foreheads so it looks like they've been praying all day ( despite carpeted/vacuumed/cleaned mosques ).Panda wrote:Lol, too many zombie video games for you. Ash wednesday just means an excuse to make pancakes on the tuesday for everyone here =)
Re: WWII medical experiments performed by Japan and Germany
Do not forget Hitlerspeed and Tarbunbullets. First got tankcrews rollin, second got british bombers down (one hit, and was the reason they were forced to were breathing mask even under the clouds, during the bombing itself)scifi wrote:(getting back on topic) Well tbh, i think more was learned from actual war scenarios than burning people to death.
