I've no clue what you're talking about really. And I have my doubts you've tested all the features Supreme Commander has if you honestly believe that.
Well. Resources are shown as total in/out and you can see how much building a unit or structure will take each tick. So you can basically see if building an expensive structure will screw up your economy or not. Pretty nice. They must have some funky new ideas, beside teh shiny graphixs and uber nukes.
Also, you can set builders to pause, units in construction will gradually fade away, but they'll be readded to the queue.
There's also the addons for the commander. He can teleport with one of those, a feature I haven't seen in Spring.
And split-screen. Which is pretty awesome.
coordinated attacks, but I haven't figured out how to use that yet.
You can see ETA on all tasks.
Uh, all I can think of, for now.

I agree, but easily emulated.Well. Resources are shown as total in/out and you can see how much building a unit or structure will take each tick. So you can basically see if building an expensive structure will screw up your economy or not. Pretty nice.
I believe we can do this, but it will take a work-around patch. Also, you can set builders to pause, units in construction will gradually fade away, but they'll be readded to the queue.
Any other good ones? There's also the addons for the commander. He can teleport with one of those, a feature I haven't seen in Spring.
Couldn't we do this with the double-screen support as intended running on one screen? And split-screen. Which is pretty awesome.
Explain.coordinated attacks, but I haven't figured out how to use that yet.
We could insert that as well. You can see ETA on all tasks.
Oh. They can be done in Spring. That explains everything. Spring is so much superior then.
Oh, wait, there is a difference between can be done and has been done.
Another feature I just thought of: Music. And the economic overlay. and score counting, maybe. Haven't checked if Spring has that. And the list over idle builders on the right.

If you have something that could be improved, report it. Rembear the reason your playing the beta in the first place?Drone_Fragger wrote:Actaully, Spring has MORE features than it. and they are a hell of a lot more easier to use.
And FFS, why are you all matching features up? Ain't most games similar in features, but differs in gameplay? Look at one fps then look at another. Same with RPG's and racers. It's not the individual features that matters, it's how it's presented and compiled... and if it fits the gameplay the devolpers want.
Now enougth whining, what's the races like? The balance? Tell me about a game you had! :D
Races are pretty similar, outside of the huge differences in appearance. As for balance, I'm spending too much time being confused about what to do to know what that's like.
I only got far in one game, a 1vs1. It was all rather confusing. I had more points when the enemy had tons of tanks in my base. Due to air transports. I have no idea where my fighter patrol magically disappeared. Maybe they shouldn't have patrolled over the enemy defence line.
