Really nice work agorm, too bad the map isn't playable :P But really nice work!

I think that its a pretty neat map, but between the ground texture and the Massive trees that block selection of units and other small problems, the map is pretty unplayable and confusing in its current state.

The Large trees are less of a performance killer than the ground foliage is IMO, once I started recycling it, my FPS started to go up up up.

Perhaps a sprite, or single-plane geometry based foliage with alpha transparency would work alot better than tons of foliage props that you used.

It would also be extremely useful to be able to Dgun the large trees.

Hummm, i thought i had used the tag that had been added to stop mouse over on certain features... maybe i typed it wrong! Unless half of you have the old versuion of spring...

Hmm are you sure you didn't upload a test version aGorm?

I just looked for this 'noselect' tag you're talking about, and the trees.tdf doesn't have it.. After adding it locally that tooltip-always-shows-big-tree problem is solved.

Besides that it looks great 8)

hang on, just realised i can edit some bits at work... Is the metal values OK, or are they too low like most of my maps?

And is wind and tide alright?

I havn't been able to test it as i edited it at work, however this should work, if not role back to teh old one and I'll fix again when i have more time and a machine that runs spring.

New? Its not new, just a reinstalle. This time with windows update turned off. And linux on one of the other hard disks. All is good now :-)

PEOPLE SHOULD RE DOWNLOAD it works better without mouse over issues.
