Starcraft 2 announced

My prediction is that they are either going to do very little, or just going to add units and unit abilities and game mechanics, so that it'll end up bloated, and too complicated, and with too little risk for any construction decision. Sort of like, dare I say it:
TA/AA/BA.
Except the original TA had only a few units that people actually used, so it wasn't as bad as the rebalancings that attempt to make everything worthwhile to build.
or... NOT.

And this is just 12 hours after the announcement... we haven't even started on Terrans and Zerg! And all the other protoss units? Just wait how they've changed!
Seriously, you think blizzard haven't thought of this?
I think that's the REASON that this game has been stalled for long. And it is that it's a very complex formula to make a sequel to the most polished RTS game in history.
And the 3d engine must be the reason the units seems to unproportional... and chibi. I never thought how wrong it looks when a huge battlecruiser is only about 1 marine high and 6 marines long. but now in 3d...
Blizzard is NOT gonna fuck this up. I don't think blizzard has had ANY major failure since warcraft 2.
Yes the trailer wtfbbqs.
I hate the mothership, seen above. WTF are they thinking, it's exactly like that wimpy scrin crap. Same goes for the walkers, their not cool at all. They really need to remodel the mothership....
Almost all the units seen this far are actually pretty dissapointing to me... shields and bajonets needs to go... siege tanks look like shit, BC too, the protoss fighters were unimpressive too... I don't like the 2 new dragoon splits either.. too many protoss walkers as some say and their not as cool as the original goon...

Probably one of the biggest reasons starcraft was and is so popular is because its system requirements were:
Monitor
Seriously. You couldn't drop below 60 FPS to save your life. That, combined with the fact that it was such a simple game (before you jump on me, there were like 10 units per side, and I didn't say it was DUMB or anything, it's enjoyable for a quick match from time to time, it's just simple that's all, and easily learned) made it a game that absolutely anyone could pick up and play.
Now they move to a 3D engine? Mmm... I dunno about that. I'm sure there will be a lot of good things about the more advanced engine, for instance it was clear that units can move around more easily (see the zerg rush in one of the trailers - they move like water), but it will possibly reduce the potential size of the player base significantly.
Watch out, I'm about to demonstrate my lack of knowledge of all things foreign! AFAIK, Starcraft is most popular in Asian countries, being practically a national sport. Ready for the racist/ignorant bit? AFAIK, Asians aren't paid as well as North Americans/Europeans. So if they need to buy even a moderately powerful computer just to play Starcraft, it would be a major barrier.
