I don't care about he has done since he resumed trolling I care about how he RESUMED TROLLING.

I was pretty happy when he became someone helpful but disappointed when he returned to acting like a 16 year old internet troll.

Well I don't like to encourage any outright trolling as it eventually results in someone rage or open hostility and that is counter productive.

Small number of games, basically zero-k vs DSD BA.
Image
Many bots inflate perceived player numbers. Many idle players.
Image
In-game popularity now appears to be the lowest since they started measuring. Image
Only 1/3rd of players online are in games.
Image
Zero-K seems to be gaining players: probably on the expense of BA.
Image
BA is becoming the dominant map more and more.

Now what. Is that bad? Is that good? What is your favorite unicorn that you want to live?

I had a couple of games earlier today on a BA DSD autohost, and people were quite happy when the map was changed to Tabula and Tangerine. I think the issue is that a small minority of people play BA DSD exclusively, and the rest of the BA players play on it because no-one will join a different server that hosts non-DSD maps. Simple as that.

well thats better 8v8 Tabula is slightly better then 8v8 DSD but not much.
And there is no way that people in a 8v8 host will split into 4 2v2 games.
Not even to think of changing the game.

yeah the only way i could play my maps was to host at least 16player games and wait until the threshold had been reached when there kept joining more players than there were leaving.

--

it would be cool to have such feature to split 16pl games into 4x 2v2 games though... could call it "quick tourney" or something, because the winner team from each small games would then again play against the other winners, and so on. i think it would be nice... giving false hope of easy game to people just to make them join in the host and then make them bitterly realise they actually have to play for win instead of just having some fun... this drives to the question though: is RTS gaming really that fun after all? or does it feel more like a job?

Everything in life is a job. It's just personal preference if you can enjoy it or not. For instance, I love video games but right now they just kind of feel like a chore of lining up my moving dot with their moving dot and clicking. So i'm cutting back until it gets fun again.
