It is, but some people dont like porcers because in most mods they finish up losing and make the game last 10x more due to excessive defenses.

Porcing is a winning strategy if you know why you are porcing

If you are just indefinitely building more and more defence with no strategy to reach the end result (winning) then its a losing strategy.

Indeed, expanding porcing especially on smaller map can be sometimes very effective. Of course you have units aswell. It just means you don spam units but invest a lot in static defense aswell.

seems to work pretty good, those llts get a pretty hefty benefit from altitude, and there is plenty for the taking on that map.
