Spring has very strong root in TA, you just can't deny that. Anybody who played TA, when he sees pee-wee and Sumo in Spring just say: hey it looks like TA with a 3D engine...

In France at least TA is a well known RTS, very much appreciated and remembered. So we decided, the boss of the mag and I that the best title (in term of attractiveness) was TA : Spring, (ie Spring = renewal of TA). Just check the embossed text on the top right of this page: "TA Spring is a project aiming ...". TA Spring. Not just simple Spring.

As I was the writer and only knew well AA as a mod, I decided to stick to AA screenshots. But I mentioned that the engine was versatile enough to have mod in space (FF) and such...

There is always room of improvement in an article (or in anything ...), and many of you could have given much more precise infos (but you must also be able to ouput 9 pages in a few days, perfectly written and structured, this is not a fanzine). But rest assured, the 9 pages where totally positive on Spring, and this what matter in the end.

I took some of the screenshots from a replay on High and Low. I don't think I borrowed any though.

i dont mind that they're used. in fact, it's cool to see my stuff in a mag. these were the ones i was talking about

like i said, i don't mind at all. i thinks it's really cool. besides, its just a screenshot so it's not like it takes a lot of skill. the makers of the game, mods and maps are the ones who should be thrilled a lot more then me. i just thought it was cool to see my stuff in there nontheless
