short answer, you can update files in the wiki... long answer... throw together a good enough PHP/CGI script to handle it and talk to fnordia about adding it to the server... or that guy who was doing free hosting at http://www.ta-spring.com/ ... I think he knew sometyhing about PHP/CGI to get something working... maybe talk to him... or go bug the old http://www.phoenixworx.org/ta/default.aspx guys and see if you can port their code...
It's not so much the server-side support that's difficult as the client-side stuff. But I'm also not sure it's necessary. I'd like to know why a KoAA-style system of rules using the current software isn't enough. Rule #1 (there's lots of rule #1s) of software design: don't code it unless you have to.
I've got the skills to handle it, I just don't have the time. I have way too many projects on the go already.

How about for each mod, and this is set up by mod creator or appointed person(s), we have a meta universe similar to the one in PW but points can be areas and it has a custom background, and each clan equals an empire, you'd have to restrict it to the larger end of the clan pool so you can get a game as often as possible but it would be pretty awesome if you ask me.
