It is not that your ideas are bad (Except auto-ready thats just pointless because some people don't click ready for a reason, like they are in the bathroom or on the phone or something). It is just that people are always posting suggestions, after awhile it just tends to go in one ear and out the other.
Also, spring is beta, which means that it's unfinished and that there are a lot of things the developers still want to add.
If we would say "Here is a new spring, it's the way we think it should be", then it would be logical to suggest things to be added.
The other suggestions are mostly from modders and mappers, and their suggestions are a bit more important because they contribute to the spring development itself, and the success depends on them too.
If an engine developer has to choose between supporting some modding feature so modmakers can add a number of new cool things to their mods, or implementing just one feature that affects the users directly, then I think he should choose for the first as it will eventually result in more new features than in the case of the last option
Ofcourse that only applies when the game is already playable and functional, but that is sort of the case for spring.
So basically the priorities are:
- getting the game running properly (which isn't even done yet, there is still the multiplatform, networking, code cleanup and seperation that has to be done)
- fixing the problems of other contributers (this would be scripting support and such th- finetuning and polishing

nobody seems to comment on any of them, seems like it's useless, what is going on ? my suggestions are wrong ? even the admin thinks im writing too mutch, tell me what is wrong I don't want to be mistaken :/
Really, what else is there to say... your ideas don't need to be commented on because the first 2 are obviousely (to anyone whoes been around for a while) good options that could be included(number 2 would be overridded by "choose in game" obviousely), and number 3 is just plain stupid dumb... and there was much discussion despite this... I'm not sure what thread you are looking at...Das Bruce wrote:Yes, yes, no.
also, when you bring up an MTR Topic, it annoys people because "They have already discussed this a million times"... it's not even that the idea is neccessarily a bad one... just one that has been extensively discussed already.
