The model would show up, and the sub-parts would show up, attached to whatever was at the top of the hierarchy,
Then what part did not work?
Even if the hierarchy information is not read correctly from 3DS, you can still export the objects seperately and just edit the hierarchy in upspring itself.
It probably has something to do with your scripts, I have replaced the peewee model with an s3o, and the flash with the example s3o and they both work.
<shrugs> it was my interpretation of the Core tank camo scheme, and admittedly rushed... if you wanna take a shot at it, feel free, the UVs are laid out and everything, should be a piece of cake.
The texture looks great smoth, really nice. However, dump that in Spring, and it will stick out like a sore thumb. It really does not look like it would fit with the rest of the Core army at all.
lol, no look at the top of it... once it has reflections on etc it will have it's shiney factor.. outside of that... on the TOP of it it has mostly grey, that is tha is the part most that you will see, it is just dark in style. Thing is add reflectivity, team colors and the glows I drew on.. and it will be more then colorfull enough.
When designing a unit to display all those features it is best to stick to greyscale so that what ever colors are applied to it do not make it look bad. Anyway, point it in game with refelections glow map and team colors... it will look great.
For those without glow map and reflections it will look fine.
I was Shocked people reacted that way. I was hoping for a more open minded crowd... but I should have expected different.
I did not intend on causing any kind drama around your model and I am sorry about that. I was just trying to get people to think out of their respective boxes.
