Which is pretty much what I was driving at.Caydr wrote:Those were all on 64.
Ah, wait, sorry. I meant "they haven't made a good game since they went to Microsoft." Since N64 era, basically. AFAIK practically none of the original Rare people still work there, they've moved on to less sucky companies.

PFFFT kameo was a pretty awesome game.
Re: GoldenEye 007 Wii
I wish that Kameo was longer.

You know that video "Fairyland" by Ayumi Hamasaki? I'd definitely dress up like the women in that video and practice modern dance along with them:SinbadEV wrote:That's what she said.Panda wrote:I wish that Kameo was longer.

Kameo had scenes in it just like in that video.

Seen mine?SinbadEV wrote:better monitor.Johannes wrote:Why play an fps on a console really
Re: GoldenEye 007 Wii
Goldeneye is the only FPS (apart from maybe timesplitters and perfect dark) on a console that is actually any good.
Nostalgia hard but I dunno if to buy it, as I still have my N64 with my original Goldeneye.

Re: GoldenEye 007 Wii
Now i want to play my n64 :/
No console has ever matched the N64 in terms of quality 3d platformers.
Mario 64 and Banjoo Kazooie were amazing.
Though mario galaxy 1 and 2 on the wii are quite good too.

Re: GoldenEye 007 Wii
yeah im pretty surprised that mario 64 didn't get a sequel; it was so much fun
Re: GoldenEye 007 Wii
Super Mario Galaxy is basically the sequel, it got pushed back over and over.KaiserJ wrote:yeah im pretty surprised that mario 64 didn't get a sequel; it was so much fun
Re: GoldenEye 007 Wii
Meh, Mario 64 is massively overrated.
Re: GoldenEye 007 Wii
FYI: I've actually bought the Wii Goldeneye, it's pretty damn good all things considered. After a couple minutes of control tweaking I was able to play it with skill "comparable" to a PC shooter.
Even so, for the next console I buy, I'll still be getting that awesome dongle thing that somehow converts mouse and keyboard input into controller input. Doesn't matter how good alternatives become, I don't think they'll ever be as good.

Seriously. I got it for my DS and even with the very real enhancements they made to it, it wasn't that great. On the other hand, it was the very first game in a brand-new genre that it singlehandedly created, so I have to cut it some slack.KDR_11k wrote:Meh, Mario 64 is massively overrated.
