I'm the one what? I have been working away on gundam. Prove to me I have not worked on it in the past few days, last week or other times. I modeled the zaku2 while on plane flights in and to australia. Animated them at 5am when traveling on the blue danube. Modeled the new aircraft while in my downtime after skiing in Banff canada. After I finish this post, I go back to my rework of the gelgoog cannon texture.
Funny how people have decided before I even say something that all my posts are going to be attacks. Jeykey, I have a thread for you it games and mods. Feel free to reply.

What?
Okay, I misunderstood you ... sorry, hope you can forgive me
It was 1:12 in the afternoon on a Saturday when I saw the thread. "Please include World Builder and Feature Placer in Spring," was the title, and it caught my eye immediately.
World Builder. I'd heard that name before, but where? My mind drifted back to a time not so long ago. Yes, all of a sudden it hit me: That's where I knew that name from...
~~~~~
It was cold that day last November, an unwelcome warning of what was soon to come as winter set in. The kind of cold that eats away at you, threatens to tear you apart until the last instant when the door desperately closes behind you.
But it wasn't the weather that had me chilled to the bone as that night wore on, down in Alfredo's Cafe; it was a dive, but they still kept the heat on, if only to keep their patrons breathing long enough to pay their tab.
My face had long since given up on playing hard to get with the dusty table I slouched over. It was a bad scene all around me - Neddie threatening to ban me, Smoth giving me the cold shoulder at home, and nothing working for me at work. My last real passion in life was slowly making its way to the exit, bladder be damned.
And then she walked in. Her UI wasn't the best I'd ever seen, but she had features I'd only dreamt of. She sat down across from me, and as my eyes struggled to determine just what I was looking at, it became clear to me that she was carrying a terrible burden. Without words, I examined her for a long moment before finally asking, "What brings you to a place like this? You're not going to get the appreciation you deserve here."
"I came here to... I... Needed a place to be free. If only for a moment."
"Free from what, baby? You could have anyth-"
She sharply cut me off, "Do you know what it's like to be with a man that lives in a fantasy world? He... I..." she sobbed.
"What? Who? What are you talking about?"
"I don't know his real name. I don't know if he even has one, if he was ever human he isn't anymore. He just floats in that tube all day with that... expression on his face. He..." Her voice broke. Wiping away tears, she started again, "He's crazy! He's trying to charge $20 for this game he made himself! He says if anyone will buy it, he'll give me to them for as long as they want! I've... been looking for you." She leaned closer to me, "I know who you are, Caydr."
Caydr. So she knew after all. "Enough! How did you find me? Leave me alone, my fight is over. I lost. Everyone's playing BA now, and I'm finally getting to live a normal life. You're talking about Argh, aren't you? Find another hero. He's got the corporations behind him now, it's not like back in the old days."
Suddenly she became intense. "Don't play dumb. I've seen your electricity bill - you're developing again. Join me! Together we can make another blockbuster map and package it with AA."
"Impossible!" I was genuinely stunned at the idea. A map and a mod in the same file? Forcing people to play a certain mod in order to play a map? That's...
"Nothing's impossible! I've seen it done! Even now there's a map hijacking BA! It can be the first of many! I know you can make better maps than Argh! Altored Divide is a legend! We can-"
"No."
"But there are-"
"NO! I'm working on a mod, that's true. But I have other things in my life now. Things that are important to me." My thoughts drifted to Smoth. "Things I love."
She half-stood like that for a good ten seconds, as if frozen in time. Finally she eased, and sat back down.
There was a long silence.
After a while she seemed to coalesce. "Remember I gave you this chance."
"In another life, I would have taken it," I replied, too honestly.
She smiled, gently. A few seconds passed as we gazed at each other, before finally she stood and began to walk away, out of my life as quickly as she'd entered it.
"Wait," I half-shouted, reluctantly.
She reached the door before turning and looking back at me inquisitively. "Yes?"
"What's your name?"
Taking her coat from the rack, she continued to walk outside, each heartbeat punctuated with the graceful clop-clop of her high-heeled shoes. Finally, she looked back at me coyly:
"World Builder."
Spring Downloader is not included in the Spring Install.
It should be...
I violently disagree. CADownloader is a tasclient dependency, not an engine dependency.
SD is not any dependency, its fully independent multiplatform program and its not CAdownloader.
In fact springlobby's downloading system depends on springdownloader :)
If you were smarter you would use its features for benefit of your mod's players.
And yes it supports resource dependencies, so maps could define dependency and it will work. I'm also pretty sure SL implementation downloads dependencies too.
done.
Not hard
Takes a few seconds
No mass marketing push
No voice overs
No title intros and sequences and video editing
Not even a video
No hundreds of manhours
Not even a minute
Or you could spend hours on end arguing so that you dont do something that would take mere seconds in comparison, showing just how ironic stubborn and foolish one can be, and annoying the hell out of everyone else, whereas the other person has a point to make that's perfectly valid, and either doesn't care, or has already annoyed everyone so it makes no difference.
