I personally believe that flu vaccines are fucking our species up. Eventually if it continues our immune system will evolve to become dependant on artificial involvement and in the long run make viruses that can evolve resistances to vaccines become more dangerous. I haven't had a flu vaccine since grade school.

On the flipside, when I do get the flu, I get it hard. Heart palpatations, hallucinations, etc.

Btw just for reference .. Spannish flu that killed over 20 millions people started same way too.. it was mild in spring and summer killing almost nobody and then it started to be evil in winter.

Umm, the difference is that in the global economy, we already had the big winter hit - remember, there's a Southern hemisphere. I was in Buenos Aires during the H1N1 winter epidemic in July.

We have pretty much the same thing in Israel.
I don't think its obligatory but i heard something aobut vaccination and the medical staff in hospitals.
Some docs are predicting large numbers of infected people in the winter.
I' not sure what is done about it but i Think they are available for free to those who want to get vaccinated.

I think mexico was hit hard because generally the standard of living of a lot of people there isnt the same as many affluent countries such as the UK.

The US on the other hand has such a huge rich poor gap that while there are people at the top with bigger incomes than a small countries GDP, at the bottom end are people worse off than somalians. The official statistics would require a much stronger analogy than that.

Italy has developed medium quantities of vaccine, targeting risky subjects like childrens, elders and chronical sick

the vaccine will be available for free soon to the local medical supplies, but will be accessible only by the mentioned categories

the standard flu vaccine will still be free for those categories, but also available for the rest of the people under national sanitary ticket pay

EDIT: both vaccine are totally optional and it's up to one's discretion if to take or not
