That's pretty good! only problem I see is that your normals aren't 100% ok, upload the model and I'll fix it for you, so you can see how I do it.

Hehe, I quite like that one. As Hoi said, you've not set up the hard edges correctly yet, though it looks like you've started so I guess it's just WIP...

I'm re-doing the top half of the torso because I decided I didn't like it at all. I'm also contemplating adding toes to the feet, but I'm still not completely sure since they look somewhat decent and I haven't seen many without huge overbearing toes.

Still working on it, but something more like this:

I'm going to put some pauldrons on the shoulders too... don't know what they're gonna look like though.

I like it! :-) especially the gun casing. Care to disclose how you did it? (I'm guessing you subdivided the vertical line in the casing cylinder, made a smaller duplicate, and delete/linked the appropriate faces. Am I correct?)

I see you've spent some time getting the unit's balancing right :P . My only suggestions would be bigger feet, less of a hanging section below the torso, and some more stuff/detail on the back. maybe weapon housing?

It seems in the latest version of CA, this model doesn't work with the XRay shader... any ideas?

I don't even use X-ray shader >.> It might have something to do with the texture, which I'm trying to improve upon too. This is a really great learning experience, but as such, I don't know if I can immediately fix things :? I'll see what I can do though
