Yeah, that's annoying as. I just save incremental files. Sometimes it's kinda nice, because I get to quickly flip between two and compare easily. But my texture directory is now several gigs in size purely because of upspring >_>

That would be annoying. I just use Wings3d for viewing the unit/texture.
It wouldn't work with my texture names either because I use (unitname)1.png and (unitname)2.png for first/second texture.

tbh when I was watching that video, I got excited because I thought that you would be able to paint directly on to the model with all the photoshop tools, and it automatically applies them to the texture. that would be exciting.

I thought you could blur actual mesh and empty space, causing a real computer model of a timewarp that could be used ingame!
