I have the same problem, I'm working on a 16x16 and it is quite annoying how long textures maps take due to their size. 512mb of RAM never is enoughhunterw wrote:not until i get some more ram. i was barely able to open up the texture map of my 20x20 and put metal spots on it - had to turn off undo etc.
2 layers @ 10240x10240 pixels is pretty memory intensive
