C'mon, didn't you guys know that TA Spring is cross-compatible with a wide variety of common applications? I mean, I just played a game in Excel yesterday, and today I did Limewire through TA Spring... it was cool, all of the files were reclaimable features, but sometimes you'd run across a fake one that looked like a feature but really launched a virus-missile at you.

well as you all should know, you have linux for the iPod (http://ipodlinux.org/Main_Page). so some striping, recompiling and voila: spring on the ipod*.
*well, it does have a 75 mhz cpu and 32/64mb ram. so I doubt you get far...

That was the accidental trip.

I know gishank what your doing but people here tend not to respond well to those sorts of things here, you have to have an element of tact and conservation about how you conduct yourself here else people will pounce on ti and what could be a highly productive much loved member of the community could fall from the heavens and plummet into the depths of hell in the space of a few days.

Icons attached to a file type in windows don't indicate that it's acctually the same file type. Chances are they just use the same .name identity. Windows users are used to the .identity being relevent, but if you've ever used lunix you would know they don't matter at all, you can name something whatever you want and it's still the same peice of data/software. Most likely the GC devs just happened to name thier files .sd7 for some reason.
[edit] guys seriously, be nicer, he didn't mean any harm. This is why I made that bullying thread.
